James (Jim) Homan began as a Landscape Lighting Designer in 1996, designing Landscape Lighting for over 1,500 homes. In 2000, Jim started his own Landscape Lighting Design and Installation Company.
Since 1996 he is responsible for designing over 55,000 fixture installations. This experience provides an excellent foundation as a lighting consultant for contractors, architects, and lighting designers. Lighting Innovations, Inc. provides cutting edge LED technology that is field tested and proven since 2007. The key to our superior LED technology is USA made CREE X series LED chips and proprietary miniature drivers all potted and sealed against moisture in a MR configuration. The electronics, sub binning of the CREE chips for color temperature consistence (2700k + - 75K) and feature rich, harsh coastal environment rated fixtures creates a winning formula for client satisfaction. The client being the Architect, Contractor and Homeowner.
Jim goal is to partner with Architects and Contractor in a unique way. Contractors cannot be expected to focus and aim fixture placement during the day time. Nor Architects to go out at night and focus the fixtures to capture the original design. This provides an unusual opportunity for all.
